After Conner's first day at Smallville High, Lois approached Clark and Conner about how she set up a dinner with them and her father and sister. She also defends Clark's glasses look from Conner, calling it cute. At dinner, Lois stated that they were in the process of looking for a band, and wondering if Smashmouth is still around.  She then tries to talk to Clark and Conner when they go off track. The next day, Lois talks to Conner, who's worried about being Black K'd. Lois encouraged Conner to go outside and not worry about what he has no control over.

When Clark and Conner arrived at the farm after dealing with Lionel, Lois wanted to know where they went and learned that Lionel had separated Conner from Alex that Tess had taken in. Lois was shocked that the two of them let Alex go though Conner states that he seems to be reformed. She then meets up with Tess and Alex where Alex apologizes to Lois for when Conner was on Red Kryptonite. She then questioned Alex being enrolled at Smallville High and heads off to talk with Tess after accepting Alex's apology. At the end of the next day, Lois asks Conner and Alex where Clark is to try and figure out the cake for the wedding and considers Alex's suggestion of red velvet.

After Conner's practicing his pitching was finished, Lois complained on the difficulty of planning the wedding. She shot down the idea of using the red and yellow for the fact they both went to Smallville High since no one remembered her during the high school reunion, telling Conner to keep quiet when he brought up her waking up in Clark's old jersey last week. However, she does approve of Conner's idea of the wedding theme being red, white, and blue due to Martha's status as a senator, Sam Lane's status as a general, and the fact that the three of them wear those three colors a lot. The next day, Lois came up to Conner and told him that they were going out to dinner with a visiting Oliver and Chloe and asking him to watch Shelby. When Lois and Clark return and find out that someone named Eric Marsh stole a stash of Kryptonite, she learns from Clark and Conner who Eric Marsh is as the two head off to fight him. After the group came back, Lois asked if Conner enjoyed his trip to the Fortress, which he did.

Maternal

After moving out of the farm and into an apartment at Metropolis, Lois was talking to Clark about the story when she saw Tess, dressed in a fifties sitcom mother's dress. Lois then asked if Tess was alright, which she assured Lois she was. In order to get alone with the others, she pretended that she saw a watermark on a wooded surface, sending Tess off. Once Tess was gone, Lois demanded to know what Alex and Conner had done, which they explained that they didn't do anything, and it was an e-mail from Zatanna. She then insisted that they needed to find a way to reverse this. After Clark explained that it would end after the weekend, but that it would get worse, Tess returned and explained to Lois how she cleaned the spot, and Lois was transfixed at how clean things were, claiming it was even cleaner than when they moved back in. During Conner's match, Lois insisted that Clark could run circles around him, agreeing with Clark's joking comment that she was prejudiced. At the mansion, Lois was impressed that Conner had pitched the first perfect game in Smallville High's history. When Tess left to make lunch, Lois was surprised Tess included her in a group reference as "kids". Lois also advised Conner not to guess as to how things could get worse as it was her experience that the guess was how it would get worse. Lois was then amazed when Tess made a lunch that looked like Thanksgiving. She also learned that Tess was getting guestrooms ready, which confused Lois. At that point, Lois was beginning to crack under the stress, not being use to this brand of strangeness. She then tried to figure out what way Tess acting like Alex and Lena's mom would be worse, heading off when Conner pointed out that it could be that she would treat Lois, Clark, and Conner like they were her children as well, which convinced Lois to leave. She then ran into Tess and nervously denied leaving before Tess pointed out she was lying. Lois denied that as well as Tess' claims that she was jealous of her relationship with Conner and Alex as well as wanted Clark to outshine Conner and wanting to kill Alex and Conner. Tess then slaps Lois and drags her to the guest room as a time out, much to Lois' incredulousness. She was then approached by Clark before he was surprised by Kryptonite until they were saved by Conner surprising Tess and Alex knocking her out with a dart to the neck. Lois then learned that the James Bond tech was given to Alex by Tess in case he ever went on another League mission, and Lois was amused over how Tess was hoisted by her own petard.

Master

Shortly after gaining Clark's powers, Lois learned from Tess that Alex was there beforehand and that he and Conner had the situation they were in handled.

Lois helped in reconstructing the Mansion and assured Conner that he was welcomed back to the farm as well as having a key to the mansion for when she and Clark were busy with work or League matters.

Shortly after the mess with Pax, Lois notes to Clark how boring it's been, especially with Lex not doing anything outwardly malevolent for the time being. Lois does find comfort at possibly finally getting married during this quiet time since if Cat asked when the wedding is once more, she'd staple her mouths shut. Lois then agreed to go out with Clark by themselves as he discusses Conner's odd actions since he returned from patrol earlier that day. Lois however doesn't notice anything.

Secrets of Betrayal

When Clark called Lana about a new clone of Emily Dinsmore, Lois came downstairs to see what the commotion was. Lois was surprised to see Lana there and learned about Emily Dinsmore due to the new clone's arrival being why Lana was there. When she met Emily, she was shocked that the little girl had superpowers like Clark's and asked why she had those after greeting Emily. Lois then watched as Conner and Lana headed off to the old Dinsmore house to begin investigating. When Emily asked if Krypto knew any tricks, she showed how Krypto was smart enough to grab a soda for Emily. After Conner told them about how the basement of the house was empty, she promised to play house with Emily later. She then learns much to her disappointment that there wasn't anything there to lead the group to who had created the new Emily.

Prototype

Later, Lois happily watched with Clark and Conner as Lana and Emily played as mother and daughter. When Tess arrived and fainted at the sight of Emily, Lois immediately went into the farm with Clark,, quickly working out what had happened from Conner. While Conner went to investigate LexCorp, Lois was knocked out by men working for Lionel Luthor who then kidnapped Emily.

Once Lana had found Emily and returned with Clark and Conner to the farm, Lois thought the situation deserved ice-cream and asked Clark to check if they had enough, which Clark confirmed that the did, so Lois declared that there was ice-cream for everybody.

Lucy

When Alex and Conner worried about Tess when she didn't return home from an appointment, Lois suggested the two calm down as it didn't necessarily mean anything bad, conceding to Alex's point when he reminded Lois of how Lex had killed her. After realizing Tess had gone to the old Dunleavy house, Lois went to check on the situation, enjoying zooming to the farm with Clark. When she learned that Tess had been mentally regressed to a child, Lois said she'd have preferred when Tess had become a psycho mom as she still acted her age. After Dunleavy shooed them off, Lois noted how Tess' eyes were dilated, helping Conner point that out. After Zatanna retrieved Tess and revealed that it was a mystical pie that regressed her, Lois stayed with Alex to watch Zatanna, who had tested the pie and now believed herself to be nine years old. She then asked Zatanna how long the pie's effects last, learning that it's about twelve hours. Once they had dealt with Dunleavy, Lois asked what they were going to do with Zatanna, agreeing to have Tess watch her until the pie wears off.

While Conner was joking about how the gang has had nothing but time since the incident with Dunleavy, Lois came in and told Conner to knock it off as she showed Clark a clipping revealing that Slade Wilson had woken up from his coma. Lois was later kidnapped by Slade along with Clark and held in a Metropolis warehouse. Lois was later saved by a new team of young heroes made up of Superboy, Speedy, Zan, and Janya.

When Zoe interviewed Clark and Lois about Conner becoming part of the family, Lois admitted to life being hard when they first met Conner. She also admits that while Conner had a crush on Lois at first, he was able to move past it, jokingly taking umbridge when Conner joked about not knowing what he saw in her.

Emily

Later, Lois came down stairs as Clark, under the influence of Red Kryptonite. Surprised, Lois asks if Clark's aware that Lana's here, which he is, he just doesn't care about that. When Clark sweeps her up, Lois apologizes to Lana who surprisingly doesn't accept. She then asks Lana if she was infected by the Nicodemus Flower due to her odd behavior, having learned about it from Clark. She then asks what's wrong with Clark due to him acting from his libido. Lois quickly asks Clark if he was infected by Red Kryptonite, learning that it happened when Lana surprised Clark with a kiss. Lois then realized that Lana must have handled some Red Kryptonite, which got absorbed into her suit. She then agreed to some fun before using Green Kryptonite to sweat the Red Kryptonite out of him. After coming back down stairs, Lois learned from Emily that Lana had sped off with Conner. After Lois has Clark sweat off the Red Kryptonite, she goes with Clark and Emily to cure Conner. Once Lois exposed Conner to Kryptonite to sweat out the Red Kryptonite, Lana had to relieve herself, resulting in her getting the Red Kryptonite out of her system. Afterwards, Lois told Lana that what had happened was a long story. At the farm, Lois thanked Lana for her being happy for her and Clark as well as agreeing with Clark that she was going to find someone some day.

Misconception

Towards the end of the school year, Lois shouted for Conner to get down the stairs as he did, making Lois remark how he can be so fast and yet so slow. Lois then handed Alex breakfast as she headed off to the Planet with Clark. When Conner returns home, Lois learns that Victoria Hardwick's returned and thinks that Conner is her son and has already bought Dunleavy's old house, making Lois worried and quickly relearns that Victoria was a girl that Lex knew from his past before he took her company from her during a plot to take LuthorCorp. Lois then went with Clark to meet up with Victoria at the Beanery. Lois then learned that Victoria's convinced that Conner's her son due to him being the only adoption handled by Smallville Charities, and she gave her twin sons up for adoption seventeen years ago. When Clark and Lois walked off, Lois stopped Clark from reacting when Victoria silently refused to leave Conner alone. Later, Lois and Clark learn with the others that Victoria's ordered a DNA test for Conner and Alex to determine that they're her twins. While it will end it, they all know that looking at Conner's DNA would reveal his Kryptonian DNA, so Lois thinks of them not doing it before Clark notes that they have to. Later learning that Clayton's spit had worked to replace his. After Victoria kidnapped Tess in a last ditch effort to make Lex confess before being stopped by Superboy, Lois was happy that the mess with Victoria was finally over.

As Lois was sleeping, Krypto barked eagerly at her, causing Lois to groan and tell Krypto to go back to sleep, happy that Shelby dragged Krypto off. Just as she was about to go back to sleep, the alarm went off, and Clark arrived, explaining that his mother was coming to visit them. She then told Conner not to joke about Lois being woken up by a baby crying. She then went to shower. Lois then came down to meet Martha, claiming she was a bit out of it due to being rudely awoken, still mad at Krypto. Lois then comforted Krypto when his newly developed super breath destroyed the farm's railings. She then held Krypto until he went to sleep in Lois' arms. When Tess arrived and shouted at Krypto to go away, Lois asked how Tess couldn't like Krypto. Lois also enjoys hearing how Clark used to put a waste paper basket on his head and walk around growling as Krypto is doing the same thing.

Chloe, I Blew Up Your Kid Part 1

Lois went to the Mansion when Clark and Conner heard a commotion from there, finding that Roy had grown to giant size. When Lois learned that it was an accident when Tess tried to test a growth ray on a stuffed wolf of Roy's named Wolfie, she chastised Tess for it as doing so was asking for trouble. She later helped retrieve the laser from LexCorp, only to find that Roy had left the mansion, having grown to fourteen feet due to an electromagnetic flux causing his growth.

Chloe, I Blew Up Your Kid Part 2

When Tess prepared the laser in Metropolis, Lois pointed out that too much power could cause Roy to explode, much to Chloe's horror, and Tess' chagrin. However, with Chloe, Oliver, and Alex's help, Tess was able to shrink Roy back to normal before he could be attacked by Eiling.

New Day

As Conner headed out for school in senior year, Lois joked about Conner making it on time for once and getting aggravated when Conner joked about her and Clark getting married this year.

Emily Returns

Lois helped Clark watch Emily while Lana visited Nell in Metropolis. As such, Lois ended up rushing after Emily when she sped to meet Conner again. After Lana returns and leaves with Emily, Lois comments that Emily's going to make a great hero someday. She then told Conner and Alex to stop jokingly asking when the wedding was. She then got further aggravated when Tess joined in.

Luthor

When Lois heard shouting between Conner and Clark, she came in to see what was wrong, only to get shot in the leg by a Blue Kryptonite bullet, learning that Conner had been exposed to Black Kryptonite, making the shooter, Conner Luthor. Lois was then tied up by Luthor and threatened with lobotomy if she didn't join him, silently refusing. She was then saved when Alex, Tess, and Conner arrived with Kryptonite, turning it black and returning Conner to one being, with his normal personality in control.

Wild

When Tess arrived at the Kent Farm, under the influence of magic wine, Lois answered, knowing full well that it was another one of Zatanna's pranks. She then reminds Tess that the Red Kryptonite wouldn't work due to Clark's inhibitions being simply keeping his secret at this point. Lois then punched Tess out for trying to seduce Clark. Lois then justified hitting her by joking that she'll be out for a week. She then pulls out an '02 Smallville High ring and wonders about using it when Tess gets back up. She then points out that Tess is the older one when Tess called Lois old, and she holds the ring to Clark to prove that it wouldn't work, and Clark proves it by kissing Lois. Once Tess leaves, they kiss again.

Graduation

As Conner was preparing for his graduation, Lois noted that he looked great. Lois then invited Krypto to be snuck into the school grounds to watch Conner graduate, which he greatly accepted. Once Krypto went to sleep in Lois' bag, she noted that pretty soon, they'd have to stop calling Conner Superboy. Lois then scolded Krypto for eating her lipstick, noting her looked like a clown. Once at the high school, she accepted some gum Krypto offered her and warned Krypto about hogging the rest. Once Conner graduated, Lois took pride in the fact, pointing out that Conner was her future brother-in-law.

The day of Clark's high school graduation, Lois announced to the Kents that she and her father would be leaving to go find her sister. However, the second meteor shower prevented her from leaving and she watched the devastation that laid waste to the town.

Lois ran into Clark at the school when he was looking for her and Lana. Clark assured her that Chloe was fine and ran off looking for Lana. Eventually, Lois took a look at the football field for anything and found a huge spaceship.

Reckoning

During Jonathan Kent's bid for election, Lois was his campaign manager. When Clark and Lana arrived at the Talon, newly engaged, they began kissing while Lois tried to tell them to stop making a scene but just walks off agitated. She later attended Jonathan's funeral with Chloe soon after.

In an alternate universe in which Clark Kent didn't exist, Lois Lane was a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist of the Daily Planet. She encountered Clark outside of the Planet while working on a top secret story. Lois was arrested by Several Department of Domestic Security agents. Without hesitation Clark super sped and rescued Lois from the DDS agents revealing his powers to her which made him attractive to her. Clark took Lois to the Watchtower and Lois said that Dr. Swann was killed by Lionel Luthor three years ago, causing Clark to accidentally reveal his super strength to her. Soon afterwards, Clark confessed his status as an alien to her, impressing her. When she informed Clark that President Lex Luthor had almost become a puppet to  Milton Fine. Clark explained that he's not human, he's an android and that he was working for a war criminal named Zod. They then form a plan to stop Lex by attending the press conference held in Metropolis. But first Lois suggested that Clark needed to disguise himself so he would blend in more. Lois handed him a spare suit, her press I.D. badge and to complete the look a pair of glasses. When Clark and his cousin Linda Danvers (Kara) were held at gunpoint by Lex, Lois arrived and knocked Lex unconscious before Brainiac grabbed her in a headlock, but he was incapacitated when Linda pulled his head off. When Clark decided to return to his own Earth, Lois asked if they'd ever see each other again. When Clark said no, Lois noted that she'd never have to let this down and kissed Clark on the lips before he left.

Lois decided to take up Clark´s offer to move into the Kent Farm, but they were sucked into the Phantom Zone together with Kara due to the Crystal of Knowledge. Clark was able to send Lois back with the help of Kara, however Lois became possessed by Faora, who used Lois' body to locate her son. Clark and Kara vanquish Faora from Lois's body and she thought she had hallucinated the entire experience.

Abyss

For Chloe and Jimmy's wedding, Lois, as the Maid of Honor, was responsible for coordinating the wedding at Clark's farm. During the shower, Clark offered Lois a dance and they almost kiss, but were interrupted by Lana Lang's sudden arrival. Lois was upset and disappointed, and later when Chloe's wedding was interrupted by a horrible monster, Lois accompanied a gravely-injured Jimmy Olsen to the hospital while he received treatment.

After the wedding, Lois returned to the farm and walked in on Clark watching the video of Lana breaking up with him. Lois admits that one's first love never quite burns out and is okay with if Clark wants to go back to Lana, but Clark assures her that Lois is his future. The two then hug. Afterwards, Lois asks Chloe how Jimmy is doing, apparently doing better. When Krypto begins tugging on Clark's pants, Lois jokes about how he's acting like Lassie and lets Clark see what's wrong as she knows that Krypto's got good instincts, assuring Clark that she can look after Shelby with her allergy medicine. She also threatens to hurt Clark if he scoops her about the Red-Blue Blur. Lois later runs into Lana and Krypto while she's jogging, being a bit stiff with her until Lana assures Lois again that Clark loves her. Lois then breaks the tension by acknowledging that Krypto is cute.

However, when she learned that the culprit was the astral projection of paralyzed Duncan Allenmeyer, who had had experimental therapy, Lois abruptly stopped, as she thought it best not to write her story given the circumstances.

For Chloe and Jimmy's wedding, Lois, as the Maid of Honor, was responsible for coordinating the wedding at Clark's farm. During the shower, Clark offered Lois a dance and they almost kiss, but were interrupted by Lana Lang's sudden arrival. Lois was upset and disappointed, and later when Chloe's wedding was interrupted by a horrible monster, Lois accompanied a gravely-injured Jimmy Olsen to the hospital while he received treatment.

When Jordan Cross accidentally brushed up against Clark, he received a vision of Lois Lane saying that she believes in him. He then received another vision of Lois approaching Clark with a mixed CD and flirting with him before Clark rushes off, deriving the rest of their future relationship from there.

Lois accompanied Lana to Shanghai under mysterious circumstances, running into Clark and Bruce. Lois instantly recognized Bruce Wayne for who he was. She was also surprised Clark knew Dr. Swann, who recently started STAR Labs but accepted it when Bruce explained that he was a friend of his father's. Lois then talked to Bruce, scoffing his remark of her being a reporter, getting startled when Clark and Lana arrive with food. She then questioned how Bruce's father knew Dr. Swann and got the answer that they were part of a club for men. She then began drilling Clark for information as he had been in a relationship with Chloe for awhile. However, all she got was that Clark was doing research for Dr. Swann. She then asked if Clark would still be at the farm after high school and complained about Shelby, who Clark defended. Lois then gets her hand kissed by Bruce as she blushes. In the restroom, Lois is joined by Lana and denies being smitten with Bruce. She does find Bruce's status as "the guy mothers warn their daughters about" fun, commenting that they weren't in a nunnery. However, just then, Margaret Isobel Thoreaux possessed Lana like at Chloe's earlier birthday, and she had Brianna Withridge possess Lois again as before to search for the Stone of Power in China. Clark and Bruce stop the two, and Lois comes to, confused as to what happened with Bruce saying Jason Teague attacked them, leaving Lois confused but taking Bruce's word for it that the Teagues are nuts.

The day of Clark's high school graduation, Lois ran into Bruce again, with his beard growing in, so that she said he looked like Aragorn. Lois announced to the Kents that she and her father would be leaving to go find her sister. However, the second meteor shower prevented her from leaving and she watched the devastation that laid waste to the town.
