Personality

Conner's personality is always preserved. It's just situations around him that change.

Powers and Abilities

Conner, like Clark, has all the abilities of a normal Kryptonian under a yellow sun, and he has also become skilled in hand-to-hand combat. His leadership skills also steadily come into play throughout any series he's in.

Weaknesses

Conner is vulnerable to various types of Kryptonite and magic. Green Kryptonite can literally kill Conner. Red Kryptonite takes away Conner's inhibitions and makes him like Lex Luthor, Black Kryptonite separates Conner into two people, Silver Kryptonite makes Conner horribly paranoid, Blue Kryptonite takes away Conner's powers, and Gold Kryptonite takes Conner's powers away for good. Conner is also powerless under the rays of red sunlight.

History

Conner Kent

Smallville

Conner at the farm.

On Conner's first day at Smallville High, he met Clayton and Zoe at the Torch. He also learned of Zoe's admiration for Chloe and her hopes to reopen the Wall of Weird, so he agrees to ask Clark about it. Conner then explained the incident to Clark, who agreed. After Conner did his homework, he went to the loft and gazed at the stars as Clark gave it to Conner as his own personal Fortress of Solitude. Conner then joined Clark and Lois to a dinner date with Lois' father and Lucy. He also made fun of Clark's glasses look and wondered when he should start wearing them. Conner then met Sam and Lucy Lane. For the wedding, Conner suggested Lucas Grabeel for the music which led to Clark and Conner discussing show tunes before Lois brought them back to topic. Conner then overheard Lionel getting some Black Kryptonite, listening to Clark in keeping his guard up. After talking to Lois, Conner agreed he was being overprotective. He then overheard a call for help from the cornfield and rushed to help where it turned out to be a trap orchestrated by Lionel, who used Black Kryptonite to separate Conner from Alex. Alex them put Kryptonite around Conner's neck and strung him up in the cornfield.

Alexander

At the cornfield, Conner tries to convince Alex that he doesn't have to do this. As the Kryptonite got to him, he began remarking on Clark and Lex's old friendship before it was shattered. He then goads Alex into shouting to alert Clark to the situation. When Clark arrives, Conner tries to warn him to stay back, but that failed. After Tess convinced Alex to forsake Lionel again and some again, Conner was doubtful about this until Clark talked to him, and he teases Clark about telling Lois. He's also excited for having two brothers instead of one. Back at the farm, Conner agrees with Clark when they tell Lois that Alex seems reformed. Conner and Alex then talk about things at the loft. Conner then arrives at the Torch and meets Chloe Sullivan. Conner then remarks on the Wall of Weird as it's littered by images of various people from Smallville High. Conner also defended Alex when Zoe and Clayton brought him up, insisting that he's a nice guy. He then meets Principal Reynolds before ending the day with a game of basket ball with Alex and talking to Lois.

Bases

After starting the Smallville High School, Conner worries about going to a school where Clark was such a big deal. He then lets Clark comfort him with the words of Jonathan Kent and Virgil Swann about choosing his own destiny. Conner then meets up with Alex, Clayton, and Zoe. Conner then saves Zoe from getting hit by a baseball and tosses it back. At the school, Conner meets the baseball coach who asks him to join the baseball team. Conner agrees after he talks to Clark. Conner then asks Clark to help him with pitching for baseball, which Clark agrees to. During the practice, Conner works on the perfect amount of control for pitching as he practices by tossing a baseball at a bale of hay. After practice, Conner suggests to Lois that the theme of the wedding be red and yellow since they both went to Smallville High. He then jokes about Lois being bitter when she shoots the idea down since no one at the school remembered her. Conner then suggests red, white, and blue for Martha's status as a senator, Sam's status as a general, and the fact that the three of them wear red, white, and blue a lot. When that's accepted, Conner points out that he figured they owed him for helping him out. The next day, Conner hears how Alex's ignoring the insults of his classmates over at Smallville High, and Conner congratulates him on it. Conner then gets ready for practice. Conner then goes to the coach and has a couple tries at pitching, holding back too much at first before getting the perfect amount and making the team. After school, Conner meets Chloe and Oliver and agrees to watch Shelby while the four go out for dinner. While taking Shelby for a walk, they're attacked by Eric Marsh who Conner recognizes through Clark's memories. Conner's then knocked into the Kryptonite Clark and Pete buried after they took it from Eric, and he takes it. The group's then pulled back to the farm by Shelby. Once Clark and Lois return, Conner briefs the two on the situation. Clark prepares to go after Eric while Conner calls in Alex to help out as they're not affected by Kryptonite. Conner then briefs Alex on the situation as he heads out with them. At the high school baseball field, Conner goes up and tries to talk Eric out of doing something he'll regret before he passes out with Clark from the Kryptonite Eric inhales. Conner's then helped out from his friends, and they head off as Eric's arrested by the police. After that, Clark shows Conner the Fortress of Solitude. There, Clark gives Conner the name of Kell-El. Conner then asks for the last Blur jacket, and Clark says to ask again in a few years. Conner then returns to the Fortress and learns that he made the baseball team.

Relations

Conner later went to Washington DC with Clark to meet Martha Kent, who had officially adopted him as her son. He was staying there over the weekend. Once Clark left, Conner complimented Martha on the outfit she had made for him last year. He then asks for any embarrassing stories about Clark and hears about the pea story. While looking around the Washington Monument with Martha, Conner heard Jor-El tell him that the day is coming before he's rendered unconscious by Kryptonite. He then wakes up outside and finds a note telling him to meet someone outside of DC to save Martha as Conner arrives. Conner then meets a clone of Lex labelled LX-16. He and LX-16 then have an argument about good and evil as Conner gets aggravated enough to grab LX-16, demanding to know where Martha is, learning that she's hanging from a spire in DC, and a bomb on the Washington Monument. Conner manages to save Martha and is quick enough to catch the falling Washington Monument before resetting it with heat vision. He then goes to where LX-16 was and finds him dead. That night, Conner sees that somewhat taped what had happened, though thanksfully not catching his face. Conner also gets gloomy about wearing glasses since he wants to be like Clark. Though Martha asks him not to rush his childhood. When Clark arrives the next day, Conner explains how the mess with the Washington Monument was caused by LX-16. Conner then learned that Clark was planning to sell the farm as a way to move away from the past. He then stays with Tess so that he won't have to change schools, though he believes that Clark and Lois will come to their senses. Conner then went to the mansion and told Tess and Alex about Clark and Lois moving. He then asked to stay at the mansion, which Tess agreed.

Shortly after moving into the mansion, Conner is woken up by Shelby licking his hand and being bemused as he dreamed that it was a red head doing that. As he heads off to school, he thanks Alex and Tess for letting him stay, which they both say was no problem. At school, Conner helped Clayton and Zoe interview Booster Gold, which shot down Zoe's theory about him being Whitney Fordman. When Conner and Alex returned, Conner found Shelby cowering under Tess' desk and asked what was wrong before he found Tess acting like a mom from a fifties sitcom. When Tess left to make dinner, Conner told Alex that he was afraid. Through Tess' story of reading an e-mail from Zatanna, Conner wonders if Zatanna did something through that as weirder things have happened. When Tess called out that dinner was ready, Conner said they'd be there in a minute as they figured out who would tell Tess. Conner manages to get Alex to do it as they go to the dining room. While Tess doesn't believe their statement, Conner is the first to try her food and is incredibly impressed by it. Conner then agrees to Tess inviting Clark and Lois to Conner's baseball game, as well as giving Shelby some of his food. Once everyone's finished, Conner agrees to play fetch with Shelby before they head home as soon as he feels his legs. After coming back inside, Tess had them go to bed. Conner then admitted that he liked this, but that it wasn't right to let Tess exist in this false state. The next morning, Conner and Alex have breakfast and enjoy it before Tess drives to the apartment with them, and Conner explains to Clark and Lois what they believe Zatanna did. He then jokingly asked why he wasn't invited to Clark and Lois' bachelor party a while ago before Lois snapped at them to focus. At the game, Conner pitched the first perfect game in Smallville High's history. Back at the mansion, Conner thanks everyone for their praise. When Clark mentioned Tess' condition getting worse before it stops, Conner sarcastically asks how and suggests Tess treats him, Clark, and Lois as her children. When Lois points out that might happen, Conner says "crab" instead of the regular expletive since Lena is present. He then points out it's catchy when Lois uses it when she sees lunch laid out. When Lois complains this is weird, Conner counters that Booster Gold is weird too, and they dealt with him. He then gets distracted by the turkey. When Lois went off, Conner asked if Clark should go after her, but accepts that this sort of weirdness is still new to her. Conner then gets suspicious when Tess knows Lois is gone. When Clark goes missing too, Conner goes to the guest room and confronts Tess, distracting her by refusing to leave and trying to get her to go to sleep, even though she has Kryptonite. He's saved when Alex stuns her with a dart. Once she's knocked out, Conner puts her in her room and locks her in. Conner then thanks Clark and Lois for their help. Conner then explained to Tess what had happened after she returned to normal. Conner then jokingly called Tess "Mom" before she walked off to change clothes.

Krypto

While giving Shelby a walk, Conner meets a pure white puppy that has super speed and strength, demonstrated when he rushed off to get a log. At the Mansion, Conner told Alex about the situation and waited for Clark to arrive. When he arrived with Kara, Conner hit on her before Clark pointed out that she was their cousin, and he immediately backed off. Conner then learns that the dog's name is Krypto, and he was given to Clark shortly after he was born on Krypton, and that he rushed into the Phantom Zone with Raya, assuming it was a game and unknowingly escaped with Clark and Oliver during their last confrontation with Zod. Conner also remarks on Krypto's strength when he's able to bowl Clark over, as well as observing that Krypto doesn't like Kara. Conner's also impressed by Krypto's quick learning through observing how Shelby does things. Conner then introduced Krypto to Tess and pointed out his quick learning nature. He then asks Tess to keep him since he and Krypto have quickly developed a bond. When Krypto is upset over Tess not liking him, Conner comforts her. Then while Krypto grabbed Tess' dress and tore it up to win her over, Conner fixed the door and desk that Krypto damaged with supplies Clark provided. Conner then came up to Clayton and Zoe at school and explained how life was going good and revealing to them that he got Krypto, also indirectly revealing to Clayton that Shelby was a boy. Conner then learned that Zoe had found out about some guy who could control metal named Neal Emerson who used to teach at Kansas University before an accident that gave him the ability to control metal. He also learned that the events in Washington have reached Smallville, with Clayton calling him a New Blur. Conner then groaned at what Clark's reaction will be. After heading home, Conner asked Alex to go in first and see how mad Tess was, which she was very mad. Conner then explained the situation with LX-16 and how he died, which eased Tess' concerns. However, she insisted that Conner disguise himself better next time. After hearing that Neal Emerson, now called Dr. Polaris, was holding the Senate hostage, Conner added a pair of sunglasses and headed out with Krypto. Conner then confronts Dr. Polaris and quickly scratches his wrist with heat vision and goes for a knockout strike when Polaris reveals that the White House is rigged to explode if he's rendered unconscious. Conner then rescues the hostages as Krypto deals with Polaris. Conner then said good-bye to Martha and sped off with Krypto. Conner then explains to Kara that Krypto's Spike while she's wearing her civvies. He also informs them that Polaris broke out of prison shortly after his arrest. He then chuckles as Tess chases Krypto, holding a log in his teeth.

Master

Conner was playing fetch with Krypto when Alex arrives and uses Kryptonite to render Conner and Krypto helpless as Conner asked what was going on. He disbelieved Alex's statement that he's doing this of his own free will and believing something is making him doing this. He tries to get through Alex's ramblings about no one trusting him or seeing him as anything else but the clone of Lex Luthor since the two were one and the same at one point. Alex then kicks Conner unconscious. Conner wakes up in the mansion where Lionel plans on using Conner as the heart for Lex's Masterwork, but Conner tries to stop Alex from kidnapping Lois to lure Clark there, but he easily breaks free. He then asks Lionel what he did, learning that Alex had a fail-safe in him that he got when he and Conner were separated by the Black Kryptonite. He also says that he won't let Lionel turn Alex into Lex's little brother until he realizes that he's planning on taking Conner's heart, not Alex's. Conner was then put onto an operating table with a Blue Kryptonite ring to stop him from escaping as he struggled and said that he wouldn't let Lionel kill Alex. He then discovers that Lionel has been making new additional clones to harvest their organs and skin for Lex, appalling Conner. He then says how LX-16 is dead. He then says that Alex is gonna break free when Lionel reveals a neural toxin to make Alex a blank slate, making Conner call him insane. When Alex arrives, Conner tries to warn him, but Lionel gags him. However, Alex was restored to normal by Lex, and he rescues Alex, and Lionel is forced to retreat after some neural toxin got on him, taking away a month of memories, but not before Conner overheard a struggle as something called LX-17 had escaped. Conner and Alex then return home and find a letter from Tess that says she's going to start rebuilding the Mansion, so they relax, believing the worst is over.

Superboy

Conner was impressed when he saw Clark become Superman and push Apokolips out of Earth's orbit. Right after Superman saved the world from Apokolips, Conner was still talking about how Superman had just done when they go to Tess' office to find that she's been killed. Conner was distraught until a friend of Tess' named Question arrived. Conner then promised that they had nothing to do with this, which Question believes. Conner then learned that it was Lex who killed Tess and that he'd revived himself through his clones. Conner then wonders how he knows this and learns that he's keeping the world safe until Clark becomes Superman. Conner then wants to know what this has to do with Tess since she aided the Question just before the wedding when Conner realizes from Question's words that they can save Tess the same as before. In Cadmus, Conner gives up some flesh on his arm with Alex to restore Tess as she wakes up and punches Alex in a panic before Conner calms her down. Conner then hugged her, happy that she was back. Conner then snaps Alex's nose back into place as it was broken and assures Tess that Question already told them about the neural toxin on her gloves. Conner then went to the farm with Alex and Tess as Conner notices how nervous Tess is about blanking Lex's mind. Conner objects to the idea of not telling Clark and assures Tess that Clark would understand. At the farm, Conner explained that Tess is dead, and he and Alex saved her. After Tess explains about Lex, Conner asks about when the wedding's going to happen next with Clark assuring him that it's gonna happen eventually, though he'll have to spend much of his free time as Superman at the moment, which Conner agrees with. Conner's also happy that Oliver and Roy are going to be staying for a bit. He then agrees to move back into the farm, joking about the incident with Zatanna's e-mail. He then learns from Oliver and Chloe that Chloe's pregnant. After finishing freshman year, Conner goes to Alex and asks if he's still looking for LX-17. Conner then assures Alex that Clark can handle LX-17. Conner then gets a call, believing it's Chloe until a male voice identifies him as LX-17. He then tells LX-17 that Lex is dead and agrees to face him, telling LX-17 that he's in Star City. Conner then confronts LX-17 at the Queen penthouse as he's holding Chloe hostage, planning on using Kryptonian crystals to make his own continent. Conner refuses to let the crystals be used to destroy America as Conner sees LX-17 pull out Kryptonite as he fires heat vision at it, and it turns into Black Kryptonite as it turns Alex into Alex and Alexander. A Blue Kryptonite ring is forced onto Conner's hand by LX-17, and he's then beaten by Alexander. Conner then gets kicked in the stomach by LX-17. He's then shocked when Alexander shoots LX-17 dead. He then wonders when Alexander gets possessed, and Conner realizes it's Darkseid who's returned to kill the next generation for when he's ready to return. Conner's then flung out the window by Darkseid as he gets a mental message from Jor-El telling him that he was completely ready to be the same kind of hero as Clark as Conner begins flying and zooms at Darkseid, making him disintegrate again. He then tells Alex that he flew, and he's happy about taking care of what's left of Darkseid and decides he needs a hero name, agreeing to be called Superboy. Conner then rushes to Tess, telling her he flew when he runs into Lex. Conner is shocked and insists that Lex is dead, learning that Lex revived himself by grafting the Master Work on to his actual body. Conner then says Lex has a second chance, but Lex refuses to take it. He then says that Lex's speech about memory is boring and telling Lex that Alex is safe. Conner then asks Lex how he can take credit for Darkseid's defeat, with Lex explaining how Green Arrow used pieces of Clark's ship to defeat the Unholy Trinity, and that he never planned to go after Conner's heart. Conner then said that Jonathan Kent was the one who pushed Clark into becoming Superman. Conner then takes offense at Lex calling him brother as he leaves while Tess holds Conner back. Conner asks why not and reluctantly agrees since it isn't his fight. He then helps in the rebuilding of the mansion as Conner is given an access card by Alex. He's then touched that they built a room for him and jokingly asks Clark if he's invited to the wedding this time. At the Crow's Nest, Superboy explained that he'd bought his t-shirt when he became a fan of the Blur. He then noted that he was going to miss the view once he became independent, already thinking about it, though planning on following through with it after high school. He then promised Superman he'd keep an eye on Smallville until then when he overheard a call for help and stopped a mugging easily.

Bizarro

When Superboy was patrolling Smallville, he was jumped by a Phantom Wraith and lost consciousness. When Superboy woke up, he saw a copy of himself with a reverse of his S-Shield. He wondered who the copy was until he revealed himself as Bizarro. Superboy then learned that Bizarro had survived Lana shoving Blue Kryptonite onto him, and that he had taken Conner's DNA to regain his body. Superboy goes to fight Bizarro, but he's quickly frozen by Bizarro's newly developed Freeze Vision and dropped off in the middle of the South Pole.

Faceoff

With the help of Jor-El, Clark's able to use the Fortress to find Conner and bring him back to the Fortress, thawing him from the ice with heat vision. Aggravated by Bizarro, he explains that Blue Kryptonite is only a quick fix, and he agrees to going to Watchtower to make a plan, facing Bizarro and a captured Tess there. Conner then demands to know where Alex is, and slams Bizarro into a console when he explains that he buried him alive after they figured out who he was, demanding to know if he was still alive, which he was, barely. Conner's then knocked back as Bizarro fights the other heroes before Conner leaps in and sucker punches Bizarro, sending him flying out of the Watchtower. After he unties Tess, Bizarro returns, and the two struggle before Conner flies to Mars with Bizarro, leaving him on the sunny side of Mars like when Clark and Bizarro first fought as he is still vulnerable to sunlight. Conner then drops Tess off at the Mansion before searching for Alex in the graveyard, finding him in an empty grave and freeing him. After making sure the two were okay, Conner assured Alex that Bizarro was now on Mars.

Poisoned

At some point, Conner was called to Tess' room as Question explained to them that they needed Bizarro back, much to Conner's surprise, mostly about Question knowing who Bizarro was in the first place. Question sidesteps the answer and explains that Lana had begun suffering from the Jitters due to all the Kryptonite she'd absorbed four years ago. Spurred on by Clark's memories of Lana, Conner flew off to Mars and immediately went to Bizarro. After explaining the situation to him, Conner forced Bizarro to prove that he still cared about Lana despite his protests to the contrary, mostly since if Bizarro didn't care about Lana, he'd have immediately gone after her once he gained a body again. Conner then led Bizarro to the mansion to get Lana's location and met up with Lana at Cadmus. Once Bizarro absorbed all the Kryptonite radiation, he bid Conner farewell and flew off. Once that was done, Conner checked with Lana to make sure it had worked before introducing himself to Lana, surprised he was compared physically to Clark. Conner then explained to Lana that he was a clone of Clark and Lex, so he knows about her that way. He also explains how Bizarro is what the Phantom is called now. When Lana decided to head back to Edge City, Conner tried to get her to accept an invitation to Smallville sometime to visit Clark, Lois, and Tess but failed as Lana felt too awkward about the situation.

Secrets of Betrayal

When Conner returned from Africa, he saw Tess sitting at the Mansion sadly. Checking on her, Conner learned that Alex had left after believing that Tess didn't trust him. Conner assures Tess that he'll be back, and that he's sure Tess didn't consciously try to hide the situation with Lana from him. Conner then discusses Alex leaving with Clark as they store the hay, knowing not to give up on Alex but noting how just when Alex does something good, something makes him take several steps back. Then, when a new Emily clone arrives, Conner is confused until he remembers the previous clone, shocked but attempting to recover from it. He also admitted to Emily that he has a foul mouth. Conner then agrees to watch Emily while Clark calls Lana. Conner then introduces himself to Emily and confirms that he's Clark's brother. He also slips up and mentions the previous clone, knowing that Emily knows about the previous clone and recognizing Conner is a clone. He then asks for her number, with him saying how his number was LX-15. He then hears her say that she's the third one. When Emily asks if she can play with a bunny or chicken, Conner gets an idea and introduces her to Krypto. After Lana arrives, and Lois learns about the situation, Conner brings out Emily. He then agrees with Clark that the "creepy man" that made her was Lex after thinking about it. Conner then agrees to go help Lana investigate the old Dinsmore house. He then asks Lena to stay with Emily and keep her company. He then arrives at the house with Lana, remembering how Clark didn't like the place and not liking it himself. When the secret passage is missing, Conner's confused, but when he scans the wall with x-ray vision, Conner pries the bookshelf off, and punching a hole through it. When the room looks exactly the way it did when Clark last saw it, Conner believes there's nothing there and points out how the camera could've been from Mr. Dinsmore's original experiments. He then calls Clark and informs him of the situation.

Prototype

Conner later happily watched Lana and Emily play together with Clark and Lois. When Tess arrived at the farm after having failed to save Alex, Conner comforts Tess and advises Emily to keep her distance until Tess asks about Emily and passes out. Conner then explains to Tess that they believe Lex made her. Conner then translated when Emily said good night to Tess. When Conner learns that Emily's "old room" was in LexCorp, Conner speeds to it. At a child's room in Cadmus Labs, Conner meets up with Alex where they learn that Emily was a prototype to Conner and Alex, to see if Kryptonian and human DNA is compatible. Conner urged Alex to come back due to Tess and Lena being a wreck without him. Conner insists that if Tess had kept secrets, she must have had a good reason for hiding them, and that Tess may be strong, but she was still badly hurt by Alex leaving. Learning from Alex that Lex might go after Emily, Conner suggested going to the farm. At the farm, Conner finds the door open and heads in, keeling over from Kryptonite before Alex gets rid of it. Conner was surprised that whoever attacked them was knowledgeable to knock Lana out despite her invulnerability. Conner also learned that Emily had been kidnapped while the others were unconscious, so Conner agreed to looking for the her.

Family

Superboy began patrolling Smallville for Emily with Superman, sure she has to be here somewhere. When Lana saved Emily, Superboy met up with them along with Superman. Superboy then learned that Emily was being held by the original clone, which had become confused and believed itself to be Mrs. Dinsmore. Back at the farm, Conner celebrated Emily's return with ice cream, happy that Lana finally got a happy ending as she heads off with Emily.

Lucy

While at shop class, Conner made a noise maker for Roy. He also told Alex how Clark already made a new S for Smallville High. When Zoe got distracted by Alex and the S, Conner agreed that it was weird and headed off with Alex and Megan. With Conner getting an A compared to Alex's A-, he gloated about sticking to the basics as well as the fact that he could give the noise maker to Roy when Chloe and Oliver visited next month. He then agreed to a trip to the Mansion. When Tess isn't there, Conner isn't worried as he's sure nothing bad's happened to Tess this time. Conner later agreed to talk to Clark and Lois when Alex brings up that Tess was talking to a CEO today. Once Alex pulls up the CEO's address, Conner is immediately worried as it's Rachel Dunleavy's address. He then hoped that the shared address didn't mean anything as he sped to the house with Alex and Lena. When the door opened, they saw Tess dressed as a five-year-old, making Conner nervously ask if Dunleavy was there, which she was. When Dunleavy said she'd never seen Tess, Conner was about to argue when Alex stopped him. He then asked what to do next, and when Tess' physical appearance was brought up, Conner noted how Tess' eyes were slightly dialated. He then wondered if Dunleavy was involved in doing something to Tess mentally, considering all the weird stuff that happens around them. He then figured Zatanna was their only shot and was worried when Krypto rushed off. When Zatanna arrived, Conner explained how Dunleavy had apparently made Tess think she was five. Once Zatanna retrieved Tess and returned her to normal, Conner asked what would happen when Dunleavy found out, leading to Tess reluctantly going back while they figured out how to convince Dunleavy to let Tess go. Once Tess had left, Conner suggested making their move instantly. He then changed into Superboy and headed off with Superman. Once Superman convinced Dunleavy to let Tess go and get help, Superboy remarked on how easy that was. He then guessed that the reason the pies Dunleavy used to regress Tess were all over her pockets was magic. Superboy then said how Dunleavy didn't put up a fight.

Justice

Conner was at the farm working, happy with the end of his sophomore year of school and asking about when Clark and Lois were going to get married since there had been several months of peace since the mess with Dunleavy when Lois arrived and explained how Slade Wilson had disappeared from his hospital bed, confusing Conner until he remembered who Slade was. When Conner was at school with Alex, he sped off to the farm once he heard Shelby's barking. There, he found Clark and Lois gone and Shelby unconscious, learning from Speedy that Slade had kidnapped almost all of the Justice League. Conner realizes that Kara's looking over the Mansion, and they rush to her. However, by the time they get there, Kara's gone and Krypto's unconscious. Conner then asked what to do as Speedy told him to get to Watchtower, arriving there, Superboy again asked what they were gonna do when Speedy said how her team's on it. Learning that Zan and Janya were now working with Speedy. Superboy tried to introduce himself, but Janya already knew him. He then asked about the purple spandex, learning that it was purely for aesthetics. Learning of a homing device Green Arrow has on him, Superboy asks for the frequency, so he can hone in on it with his superhearing. Once Speedy shows him the frequency, Superboy locates the group and leads them to an old warehouse. When Zan and Janya get the gang in, Superboy notes how much control they have over their powers now thanks to Chloe. Superboy then used x-ray vision to pin point where the League was being kept, and he flew to the top of the roof with the others. He then asked why Zan always turned into water, learning that was specifically his shapeshifting power. Superboy then ripped open a vent for them to crawl through and went in after Speedy. He then assured Speedy that he'd never dream of getting ideas. Once they were through, Superboy said that the League was just a few feet ahead when they ran into Slade. As Speedy and Slade struggled, Superboy told the Twins to free the League as he went to help Speedy until Slade removed his mask to reveal a Kryptonite eye, incapacitating Superboy. Once Speedy removed the eye, Superboy recovered. He then knocked Slade out with a pat to the forehead. Superboy asked if Speedy was alright, which they were. He then went to the League and assured Chloe that Roy was fine. Back at the farm, while putting up a fence, Mia arrived and said how much of a help Conner was. He then accepted a spot on the team, though he'd still be based in Smallville because of school. He then liked Zan and Janya's idea of calling the team Young Justice. Conner then quickly changed into Superboy to help patrolling.

Secrets

Shortly after Conner's junior year of high school started, he got assigned to interview Alex. He then learns that Zoe is going to interview him. Conner then groaned, and when Alex said that she liked him, Conner corrected Alex by saying that she liked Superboy due to the time Bizarro took his place. Conner also says he's afraid of what this will do once Zoe finds out about him. Conner then returns home and finds Zoe interviewing Clark and Lois, making Conner incredulous. Not fighting that, he confessed to Lois that he used to have a crush on Lois before jokingly wondering what he ever saw in her. He then remarks on Lois sticking her tongue out at him. Conner then learned that Clark and Lois were nervous about Zoe digging into Conner's adoption, especially since Chloe and Oliver forged his birth certificate. Conner then assured them that he has it under control. He then met up with Zoe where she revealed that he was adopted from Smallville Charities, which only handled his adoption. After angrily shouting at Zoe for this, he walked off and confronted Tess at the mansion. He asked about Smallville Charities. Conner then explained that Zoe told him about it before confessing that he's just mad at himself for snapping at Zoe. Conner then confessed that he needed to tell Zoe and Clayton about him. Conner then tells Zoe that he's Superboy. When Zoe says Alex is, Conner explains how Alex and he were once the same person, being cloned from Clark and Lex. He then explained how Tess had saved him. He then explained Bizarro to them. He then explains about Krypton before just asking them to the farm. They then play basketball as they explain things. He then told Clayton that he doesn't used x-ray vision to invade people's privacy, annoyed when Alex decoded Conner's meaning as once.

Emily

After Superboy helped Superman out with a case he returned to the farm to find Lana there. He then joked that she didn't have to come all the way out there for a cup of coffee. He then asks what Lana wants to talk to him about. He's then nervous about teaching Emily how to fly as he feels that Clark's a better teacher, but he agrees when Lana admits that it's still awkward for her to ask Clark for help, and that Kara's busy in Tokyo. Conner then asked Emily to put the tractor down, and he'd teach her about flying, joking he doesn't need to teach her about liftoffs as she's already floating. He then asks Emily to land, overruling Lana's objections as it's only a few inches before agreeing with her when she grabs his ear. Conner then floats up and sets her down. He agrees that Lana is a bit overprotective and explains that he needs to find the root of the problem before he can help her, again asking her to land. Seeing Emily slam down onto the ground as she does so, Conner says that she's thinking too much about it and advises Emily to just go with the flow like swimming as she quickly gets the hang of it. Once Emily masters flying, Conner eagerly says that nothing can hold her down now. When Lana walks off, Conner tells Emily that he thinks she needs to be alone and advises working on her maneuvering. Conner then arrives at the farm house with Emily after they helped Clark give birth to a cow. Conner then asked if Lana was alright before he realized that she was now dressed provocatively due to accidentally absorption of Red Kryptonite. When Lana hits on Conner, he asks what's going on before she kisses him, and he's infected by Red Kryptonite. Conner then asks to be called Kon as he tells Emily to stay with Lois and Clark as he speeds off with Lana. At the mill, Kon asks if Lana's been a bad girl, agreeing that he's been a bad boy before Clark arrives as Kon greets him. He's then returned to normal as Clark uses Kryptonite to sweat the Red Kryptonite out of his system. After everything returns to normal, Conner jokes about needing therapy after this. He then tells a returned to normal Lana that the man she's looking for may be just around the corner. Conner then remarks that Clark has some amazing friends, noting that he has the same idea as Clark due to having Clark's memories, earning him a pat on the shoulder.

Reporter

At school one day, Conner checked the baseball schedule, happy he didn't have any practice that day, explaining that he had to help Clark and Lois at the farm. He then tells Zoe that he has to help Clark and Lois with the wedding as it's a prolonged engagement. He then tells Zoe that they'll be engaged four years this March, much to Zoe's amazement as Conner advises Zoe not to ask Lois about it as she'll go crazy on her.

Misconception

Just before school starts, Conner speeds down, calling himself the eighth wonder of the world. He also explains that he was studying for a test on Greek Tragedy today. He then thanks Lois for breakfast and wishes the guys good luck at work as he speeds off for school. Later at school, Conner corrects Zoe that Chronos did eat Zeus. When he went to his locker, Conner ran into Victoria Hardwick and nervously greeted her. He then asked if he knew her, surprised by her saying that she's his mother. He then told Clark and Lois about the encounter saying how Victoria didn't believe him and giving him her address. He then helped Clark explain to Lois that Victoria was Lex's ex-girlfriend that he double-crossed and bankrupted. He also doesn't believe the years have been kind to her, given her state of mind. Conner then agrees that it'll be smarter if Clark and Lois talk to her. Conner then went on Zoe's computer while at the Torch, learning that she'd been investigating Smallville Charities. Conner then confronted Zoe about getting e-mails from Victoria. He then shouted at Zoe about not digging into his adoption after he told her his secret. Conner then told Zoe that Victoria was here right now. He then confesses that he has no idea what he's going to do. Conner then confronts Tess and Alex about Smallville Charities existing before he was adopted. He also agrees that Victoria's lost her mind. Conner also agrees that he needs to be careful. When the sheriff arrives, Conner lets him in. When the sheriff calls out a blood test for the two, Conner says that they're safe thanks to his paternal DNA being Lionel's, but his will reveal his secret. Conner then catches onto Clark's plan on replacing the saliva sample they're going to take. Conner and Clayton then break into the Metropolis lab as he empties the contents and gets Clayton's spit for it. Conner then agreed to warn him next time that happens and heads off. Conner then told Clark that the switch went perfectly. When Victoria kidnaps Tess, Conner goes to save her. When Victoria's about to hit Tess with an axe, Superboy intercepts, finally convincing Victoria that he's not her son. Superboy then helps Tess out. Superboy then suggests getting out of there. Conner then asks if Victoria is gonna be alright. Conner then says that they're good again. Conner then agrees to play fetch with Krypto as Conner chuckles at Tess making light of her interaction with Dunleavy if Victoria doesn't get the help she needs.

Dog's Day

When Lois is woken up early by Krypto and Clark, Conner said it could be worse as she could've been woken up by a her child crying. The three then hug the visiting Martha as Conner says how Krypto's genetics make him age at the rate of a normal human, so he's still only three years old. When Lois was still upset at Krypto waking her up, Conner picked him up and asked Lois how she can still be mad at him. Conner then jokes how joking about the prolonged engagement being easy. Conner then tells Lois to take things one at a time as maternal instincts kick in, and Conner pets Krypto's head as he calls Krypto a good boy. Conner then tells Krypto that he and Clark can repair the damage from Krypto's sneeze. Conner then scolds Krypto for running into Tess' leg with a basket on his head as Conner takes him outside. Conner then congratulates Shelby for convincing Tess to go outside. Conner's then happy when Tess confesses that she likes Krypto.

Chloe, I Blew Up Your Kid Part 1

When Conner, Lois, and Clark heard a huge commotion from the Mansion, they arrived with Conner asking what was going on as he saw Roy, who'd grown to eight feet. He then assumed it was Alex. Conner then learned it was Tess. Conner was then left to care for Roy with Alex due to the others needing to get the laser that caused this. Conner then agrees to play catch with Roy before Alex stopped him. Conner then agreed as he asked Roy to watch Mickey and the Beanstalk while he and Alex talked. Conner was about to ask what they do as they hear a crash and find a fourteen-foot hole Roy made, with Conner learning from Alex that Roy grows in proximity to electromagnetic fluxes, meaning he'll grow every time he's near an electric object. They then find Roy in the middle of main street with Zoe and Clayton as Conner says that they're not in trouble since it's not their fault. He then admits that they're in trouble when the military arrives.

Chloe, I Blew Up Your Kid Part 2

When Roy grew again near power lines, Conner tried to get Roy to sit down. Conner then went to the adults and explained how Roy had taken Zoe and Clayton, thinking they were toys. They then learned from Lex that Conner was heading for Metropolis. Conner then asks Alex if he's sure he can reverse the ray to make Roy shrink. Once the ray was successfully tested, Conner arrives and lets the others know that Roy's grown to about a hundred feet high. Conner then changed into Superboy to try and get Roy to stay still, so that the ray will work on him. Superboy then just told Roy to calm down. However, Roy sees a car and puts Zoe and Clayton in it, much to Superboy's dismay. When Roy accidentally catches it, Superboy catches it with Superman. When General Eiling shoots at Roy with tranquilizers, Conner angrily shouts for him to pick on someone his own size. When an enlarged Chloe sends Eiling's helicopter off, and she and Roy hug, Conner happily cries at the scene. Once Chloe and Roy were returned to normal Superboy and Superman set Zoe and Clayton down on the ground.

Mad Mod

One day, when Young Justice got monitor duty at Watchtower, Superboy noted how things had been quiet ever since Roy had been returned to normal. However, Superboy passed out with the rest of the team when Blue Kryptonite laced knockout gas and awoke in a chair he was restrained in via Blue Kryptonite shackles. He then learned that the man responsible, Mad Mod, was holding them in a "school" to defeat them due to their hero abilities. When Janya objected to Mad Mod's crack about recycling, Superboy reminded her that he was a bad guy. Mad Mod then opened up a series of trap doors as Superboy landed in a room with a chalkboard that doubled as a hypnotic screen. Unable to close his eyes due to the high-tech chair, Superboy forced the chair sideways, breaking one restraint as he freed himself and then destroyed the screen with his heat vision. He then planned to find the others, escaping the booby-trapped room as he joked about losing perfect attendance before trying to disable a screen behind Mod as the blast kept going, despite the fact that it really was a screen, though Mad Mod indeed went through it. Chasing Mad Mod, he assumed he was still groggy from the gas when he saw Mad Mod walking on the ceiling. Continuing the chase, Superboy found himself back in the entrance hall of the building, unsure of how he got there as he heard a scream from Janya and went to help her. As she was about to be hypnotized, Superboy arrived and smashed her chair. However, when a Kryptonite laced overdue stamp was about to crush him, Janya quickly pulled him back to the entrance hall. Superboy then asked twice for Janya to let go, as she seemed to be developing a crush on him. When the two search for the others, they come across Zan, hypnotized by the screen. Unsure that blasting the screen would return Zan to normal, Superboy advised getting out of there. Superboy then told Janya that shouting Zan's name wouldn't snap him out of his daze before belching in his ear, returning Zan to normal. They heard a commotion and were confronted by Speedy, having escaped Mad Mod's gym class. Superboy then theorized that if they could get Mad Mod's cane, they could use it to escape, ordering the charge to capture Mad Mod when he appeared in front of them. When no one else moves, Superboy asks what they're waiting for, having Janya wake Zan up when he's hypnotized again, suggesting that she make him laugh. When the chase ends with them returning to the entrance hall, Superboy gets frustrated before Mad Mod appears again, covering all the walls in hypno screens to subdue them, though it only works on Zan. After Speedy wakes Zan up, Superboy leads the charge and eventually ends up the only one not reimprisoned as he tries to fight Mad Mod. When Superboy makes a grab for the cane, and his hand goes through it, Superboy realizes that Mad Mod's as fake as the rest of the house and rips through a wall and into the inner workings of the building, destroying everything he comes across. Superboy then confronts the real Mad Mod, an elderly man and captures him, guessing he'll be put away for a good twenty years. Superboy then jokes about school seeming smaller after graduation as they're in an oil rig outside of Coast City as Superboy agrees that the recently recovered Zan has a brain, he just doesn't use it much.

New Day

When Conner's heading for school, he retaliates Lois' crack on making it on time by telling her and Clark to try and get married this year. He then explained he was just getting his one wedding crack of the year out of the way. Conner then told Clayton and Zoe that summer was pretty cool after getting off of Mad Mod's island. He then explained to Clayton that Mad Mod was a sixties hipster and not a Krypto-Freak. At class, Conner suddenly heard an ear-splitting screech. Hearing from an escaped Dr. Polaris that he had Martha Kent held hostage, Conner rushed off and arrived as Superboy. He then called out across Metropolis for Polaris, eventually finding him on the rooftop of the Daily Planet. He then demands to know where Martha is. Superboy then acknowledges his first public save at DC where he fought LX16. Superboy then insisted that he's nothing like Polaris. After Polaris says that Superboy just cleans up messes he creates, he grabs Polaris by the neck and begins choking him until he stops himself. Superboy then learns that Martha's hanging precariously over Metropolis mainstreet while at the same time, the bridge is about to give out. He then sped off to save the day. Superboy then holds the bridge up just as the supports gave out and fixed it with heat vision. He then saved Martha just as she began to fall and made sure she was okay before heading off. Back at the farm, Conner was defensive about Clark asking if he was alright before admitting that he wanted to kill Polaris for trying to hurt Martha. After Clark talks to him about it being about choices, Conner agrees that he made the right choice in the end. Conner then nervously ate some of Lois' cooking while discussing the past few years.

Emily Returns

When Conner returned to the farm following patrol, he ran into Emily and learned that Lana had dropped her off at the farm while she visited Nell. Conner then asked if she was left alone, learning Clark and Lois already knew she was there. Conner then scolded Krypto for jumping Emily and licking her face. When Conner learned that Emily's pet rabbit had passed away, he suggested buying another one and offered to help her look before Alex explained that Emily and Lana didn't have the time anymore to care for one. He then confessed to Emily that he wasn't planning on staying Superboy after high school, he didn't know what his name should be. He did however like the name Scion. When Emily was falling asleep, Conner suggested she go to bed, agreeing to read to her, ending up reading the story of Hercules. When Lana picked Emily up, Conner remarked that she was a good kid. He then asked Lois about the wedding much to her ire.

Kara and Krypto

A short time after babysitting Emily, Conner comes home and is happy to find Kara contentedly playing with Krypto. Conner then asked what happened and was surprised to learn that Kara had discovered that her father had killed her mother and wiped the incident from her mind. Conner then explained the situation to Tess when she arrived.

Luthor

When Conner was walking through the field, he discovered some loosely covered Kryptonite and tried to destroy it with heat vision to escape. However, the Kryptonite turned black, and he was separated into his light and dark sides. Introducing himself as his dark side, Conner Luthor kicked Conner in the gut and explained that the Black Kryptonite had done this, confusing Conner since his human and Kryptonian personas were already separated, with Conner Luthor saying that he was Conner's true dark side. He then knocked him out with a tree trunk and then sped to the mansion. Conner Luthor then approached Alex and asked to join forces with him, saying that between their combined brains and Conner's powers, they could rule the world, assuring Alex that he could handle Superman. Conner Luthor also explained to Alex that he had a change of perspective as a reason for why he was talking like this, trying to convince Alex to rule over the whole world together, splitting everything fifty-fifty as the final terms. When Alex goes for his cell phone, Conner Luthor grabs Alex by thr throat and slams him into Tess' desk. Conner Luthor then told Alex he shouldn't have done that and explains that he's fulfilling his destiny. He puts a gun to Alex's head when Tess arrives. When Conner Luthor sees her, he lustily greets her. The real Conner then rushes in to explain what happened only to realize that Conner Luthor beat him here. Conner then demands Conner Luthor drop the gun, and when he's taunted to make him, Conner ends up hit in the shin by Conner Luthor's heat vision. Following this, Conner Luthor declares himself the real Conner and knocks everyone out. Afterwards, Conner Luthor places everyone in the basement and asks Alex if he remembered the Man in the Iron Mask, dismissing his inquiry about the book vs. the movie as he put two Blue Kryptonite laced masks over their faces, explaining that he's locking the two away. Conner Luthor then went to the farm where he confronted Clark. When Clark recognized it wasn't the normal Conner, Conner Luthor insisted he is the real Conner. Conner Luthor later explained that his other self is still alive since he couldn't be sure what would happen to him if he killed him and planned on torturing him, Tess, and Alex if he ever feels bored. After explaining this, Conner Luthor pulled out a gun with Blue Kryptonite bullets and explained he wanted the world and demanded that Clark and Conner help him get it. He then shoots Lois as a sign that he isn't messing around. Conner Luthor then tells Lois that he is the villain of the story, chiding them for not thinking of Conner being the one to turn bad. When Clark insists that he isn't the real Conner, Conner Luthor declares his real self a lie and refuses to tell Clark where he is. This ends in Conner Luthor punching Clark in the face and saying Clark makes him wanna puke. Back at the mansion, Conner insisted that they had to get out of there. Conner then breaks himself free after Tess removes his mask. Conner was then ready to kick his dark side's butt, confused as to how he could properly phrase it. Conner then reveals to Alex his plan, use Black Kryptonite to rejoin the two halves. Back at the farm, Conner Luthor is insisting on Clark and Lois joining him, and when Clark refuses, Conner decides on a lobotomy when he's subdued by Kryptonite from Alex. When Conner arrives, Conner Luthor uses his heat vision to shatter the Kryptonite before Conner can make it black. The two Conners then get into a fight. Conner Luthor insists that Conner can't beat him. Conner denies this and slams him into the wall, shaking out Clark's Black Kryptonite sample as Conner slams it into Conner Luthor's chest, refusing the two together. Conner then apologizes for what his dark side did and doesn't feel brave for taking his dark side back as he thanks Tess, hugs her and says he loves her, and passes out in her arms from the stress of the day, mumbling about wanting extra spices on his pizza before Clark helps him to his room.

Wild

When Alex called Conner and told him Tess was drunk, Conner sped right over asking about what happened when Tess told him to be quiet as she was on the phone. Conner wondered what happened before quickly realizing it was Zatanna, taking the time to comment that she was getting on his nerves. Conner tries to devise a plan when Tess bursts in, and Conner asks about her getting anything from Zatanna. When that fails, Conner points out that Tess' plan to use Red Kryptonite on Clark won't work. He then expanded on his point by saying that when Lana used it on Clark last year, it just made him horny for Lana. Conner suggests Tess rest, only for her to go to the bathroom to vomit. Conner also agrees with asking Zatanna about it since he didn't want a wedgie from the altered Tess, though he insists it isn't the only reason. Conner then called Zatanna and demanded to know what she did to Tess. When Zatanna insists she was just loosening Tess up, Conner insists that she can't keep doing that. He also advises Zatanna not to tempt him with using Dinsmore's pie on her. Conner then argues with Alex about using the phone. When Tess reiterates her plans to use Red Kryptonite on Clark, Conner reminds her it won't work. When she leaves, Conner asks Alex for a plan since he's good at them, surprised it's just warning Clark and liking it. Conner calls Clark and warns him about Tess wanting to use Red Kryptonite on him, saying he'll see him and Lois at dinner. Upon seeing Tess arrive in an outfit similar to the casual clothing for a high school cheerleader, he's disturbed she both has that and can pull it off. After Tess returned, Conner bragged about being right and had enough when she threatened to give him a wedgie. Conner prepares to punch her only to stop when she pouts, resulting in him getting beaten up once she puts on a Blue Kryptonite ring. Upset, he lies on the floor, assuring Alex he doesn't want to know what happened. After being helped to his feet, Conner agrees with Alex that Tess is actually the loser. After challenging Tess to a drinking competition, he puts on a Blue Kryptonite ring to make it fair. Conner encourages her to start, and after half an hour, he begins to sucumb until Tess passes out. Afterwards, Conner enjoys this, asking for the Blue Kryptonite ring to be removed as he begins to give in to the alcohol. Conner was unsure this would keep her out for the whole weekend and takes her to the bedroom. Conner was also happy that the effects only lasted a day. Afterwards, he apologizes for not remembering she had a hangover. When Tess wants to get back at Zatanna, Conner asks if she's going to use the pie again. He also points out that the League wouldn't let her kill Zatanna and says that she was just trying to help. Conner then admits that he thinks Tess has been working too hard and at the least, it got Tess to relax. Conner also agreed with Tess that using Red Kryptonie on Clark doesn't work anymore. Conner later insists to Alex not to be hard on Zatanna since, while she tried to help in the wrong way, she was still trying to help. Conner also reminds Alex they already called Zatanna. After Zatanna arrives to apologize to Tess, Conner makes her promise that she isn't going to magically make people relax anymore, insisting until she gives in. When Tess agrees to hang out with Zatanna that night, Conner is surprised but ultimately accepts that. Talking with Alex about the day, he agrees with the idea of a meat lover's pizza while Tess is out.

On the day of Conner's graduation, he was trying on his robes and asking how he looked. When Tess arrived, Conner confirmed to her that he was excited for graduation. Before the ceremony, Conner met up with Alex, Clayton, and Zoe. He also suggested that Clayton could work for the Ledger. Eventually, Conner was given his diploma and shook Reynolds hand, smiling at his well wishes. Conner then greeted Roy when he arrived with Chloe and Oliver. He then thanks Roy for a hug. As he was putting away the robe, he found a spare Blur Jacket and asked Clark if he could use it, happy when Clark agrees. Conner also explains to Tess that he plans to go to college and then get a job.
